If you had a magic wand where you had the possibility of removing any negative emotions, responses or beliefs would you? Can you even imagine a life where you generally do not have negative feelings? Do you even think it is even possible.
Every Individual that I have encountered at some point has or does experience negative emotions, responses or beliefs on a daily basis and in the majority of cases they leave us unmotivated, anxious and depressed and in extreme cases suicidal. Alternatively we may experience uncontrollable anger, frustration and resentment, hate, envy or jealousy towards ourselves or others. Now I believe there is a common misconception about negative emotions in the world we live in today. All negative emotions that we experience are stimulated from the fight or flight response which is designed for self-preservation and our safety and obviously it would be dangerous to be indecisive if there were a threat to our survival. But many of us have learned to trigger fight or flight emotions and responses when we are actually not in danger or where there is NO threat to our survival and illicit negative feelings or responses inappropriately in our thoughts and interactions with the outer world in everyday life.
So why would you want to change these emotional responses or beliefs?
Well firstly they impact not only your life but also the lives of everyone around you whether you are at work, at home or in your social life. It causes strain on your relationships with family, friends and partners and is one of the major causes of breakups in partnerships and marriage. Who actually likes to be around those people who constantly moans, complains, is judgemental or behaves aggressively?
Secondly - You will not be living or experience your life from a place of Joy, Happiness, Love and Peace but from a place of Pain, Suffering or Negativity.
And lastly and most importantly – It is now proven scientifically that the Neuro chemicals which are created from our negative thoughts and beliefs are the primary cause of disease and illness.

All emotions are stimulated and experienced by Cause and Effect. The Cause – A Trigger, Stimuli or an event. The Effect – A biological response which we experience as a feeling or an emotion
Now in 2008 Psychologists Kirsten Ruys and Diedrick Stapel of the Tilburg Institute for Behavioural Economics Research at Tillburg University in The Netherlands, have uncovered the first empirical evidence to suggest humans do not need to be aware of the event that caused their mood or feelings in order to be affected by it. Well what does that mean?
I believe there are 4 types of negative responses that we experience in everyday life.
1. Internal Conscious thoughts and beliefs towards ourselves. 2. External Conscious thoughts and beliefs towards others 3. Internal Unconscious thoughts and beliefs about ourselves, these are generally learned responses from past events and experiences. 4. Unconscious thoughts and beliefs which are triggered about others or from our environment again these are learned.
