What are negative emotions, how do we experience them and why we should remove them.

If you had a magic wand where you had the possibility of removing any negative emotions, responses or beliefs would you?  Can you even imagine a life where you generally do not have negative feelings?  Do you even think it is even possible?


Every Individual that I have encountered at some point has or does experience negative emotions, responses or beliefs on a daily basis and in the majority of cases they leave us unmotivated, anxious and depressed and in extreme cases suicidal. Alternatively we may experience uncontrollable anger, frustration and resentment, hate, envy or jealousy towards ourselves or others.

Now I believe there is a common misconception about negative emotions in the world we live in today. All negative emotions that we experience are running 24/7/365 unless the shock which caused them in the first place has been resolved, unfortunately the majority of people believe that by suppressing them or denying to feel them means that they have dealt with them or they have resolved them some how.
Unfortunately this is actually inaccurate and keeps most people trapped in negative feelings and responses possibly for their entire life.

Most negative feeling and emotional responses are stimulated from the "fight or flight" response which is designed for self-preservation and our safety and obviously it would be dangerous to be indecisive if there were a threat to our survival.
But many of us have learned to trigger fight or flight emotions and responses when we are actually not in danger or where there is NO threat to our survival and illicit negative feelings or responses inappropriately in our thoughts and interactions with the outer world in everyday life.

So why would you want to change these emotional responses or beliefs.

Well firstly they impact not only your life but also the lives of everyone around you whether you are at work, at home or in your social life. They can cause strain on your relationships with family, friends and partners and is one of the major causes of breakups in partnerships and marriage.... I mean, who actually likes to be around those types of people who constantly moans, complains, being judgemental or behaves aggressively?

Secondly - You will not be living or experience your life from a place of joy, happiness, love and peace but living from a place of pain, suffering or negativity.

And lastly and most importantly – It is now proven scientifically that the neuro chemicals which are created from our negative thoughts and beliefs are the primary cause of disease and illness.

All emotions are stimulated and experienced by Cause and Effect.
The Cause – A Trigger, Stimuli or an event.
The Effect – A biological response which we experience as a feeling or an emotion

Now in 2008 Psychologists Kirsten Ruys and Diedrick Stapel of the Tilburg Institute for Behavioural Economics Research at Tillburg University in The Netherlands, have uncovered the first empirical evidence to suggest humans do not need to be aware of the event that caused their mood or feelings in order to be affected by it.

Well what does that mean?

I believe there are 4 types of negative responses that we experience in everyday life.


1. Internal Conscious thoughts and beliefs towards ourselves.
2. External Conscious thoughts and beliefs towards others
3. Internal Unconscious thoughts and beliefs about ourselves, these are generally learned responses from past events and experiences.
4. Unconscious thoughts and beliefs which are triggered about others or from our environment again these are learned.

The first type of negative responses that we can experience, are the ones which are inward directed emotions subject to the self these can be conscious or triggered in the unconscious mind. These responses can include: - Depression, Anxiety, Fear, De motivation, feeling unworthy or a lack of self-worth and these types of emotions can of leave us feeling numb, powerless, disabled or paralysed.

The second type of negative responses that we can experience, are the ones which are directed externally, again these can be created in the conscious and also stimulated in the Unconscious mind. These responses include:- Anger, Hate, Resentment, Envy, Jealousy and Judgement and although we may experience occasionally towards our self, these responses can create elevated energy levels and if acted upon could lead to outbursts of physical or verbal attacks, assault and in extreme cases acts of violence.

So there is a common belief that these emotions are part of our makeup, or we allow these to define us and although they appear to be real they are actually just a learned biological response to past, present and future events or thoughts.
In most cases these feelings 
can cause us to prevent, block and interfere with our decision making process and this in turn can and will prevent us from growing, learning and creating new life experiences and can keep us stuck in an uncomfortable feedback loop from hell.

So how do you free yourself from these responses or get rid of those unwanted feelings?

The DTO process is a very simple and proven and effective technique which works rapidly and permanently.
As stated earlier all of our emotions, feelings and responses are the effect or a symptom of a cause or a past or present event or situation.

Once the cause has been identified, the DTO process will actually begin to switch off the negative feeling and responses and replaces them with positive, loving or happy responses all of which are feelings that YOU choose until all the negative responses have gone leaving you free to continue your life in a happy and positive way.

Unlike other treatments and therapies which will give you tools to manage, cope and be strong the underlining issue with these type therapies is, that this is in fact an admission you will always have them for the majority of your life unless by chance it may get resolved.

The DTO process works rapidly and is permanent, and so far to date has a 100% success rate with all participants.
